the challenge

volectra is building an AI-powered voice assistant platform that lets teams create, customize, and deploy conversational agents. the technology is genuinely impressive — but the previous website made it look like yet another chatbot builder. in a market flooded with AI tools making identical promises, standing out visually became as critical as standing out technically.

the dual challenge: design a marketing site that sparks curiosity and a product dashboard that simplifies complexity. two audiences, two mindsets, one coherent brand.

our approach

we developed a cosmic visual language — deep purples, soft gradients, and particle effects that evoke intelligence without resorting to the tired "neural network" clichés. the aesthetic says cutting-edge without saying intimidating.

the landing page is structured as a progressive reveal. the hero leads with a clear value proposition — "smart voice, built by teams" — followed by a dashboard preview that functions as both social proof and product demo. visitors see the actual interface before they sign up, eliminating the uncertainty that kills SaaS conversions.

for the dashboard itself, we prioritized information hierarchy over feature density. the left sidebar organizes capabilities into logical groups — Design Lab, Assistants, Integrations, Campaigns — while the main canvas adapts to the selected context. agent creation flows were reduced from eleven steps to four, with smart defaults doing the heavy lifting.

the outcome

waitlist signups exceeded projections within two weeks of the soft launch. the landing page's scroll depth metrics showed that 68% of visitors reach the pricing section — a strong signal that the narrative structure works. demo bookings nearly tripled compared to the original site.

the dashboard's simplified onboarding flow cut time-to-first-agent from an average of 23 minutes to under 7. early beta users specifically cited the interface clarity as a deciding factor in choosing volectra over competitors with more mature feature sets.
